The 917 Cable Granulator can separate the waste cable from copper, plastic, iron, etc. through processes such as crushing, flotation, and magnetic separation.
Process Description:
1. First crush the cable into particles, copper particles and plastic particles, and the diameter after crushing is about (2MM -8MM).
Water-containing crushing helps to cool the crushed material and prevent chemical reactions from overheating, such as the plastic sticking to the copper core.
2. The crushed material flows to the shaker using the principle that metal (copper) and non-metal (plastic) have different specific gravities in water. Metals usually sink faster in water, while non-metals such as plastics are floating in water. The heavier metal (copper) material sinks in the surface of the shaker, and flows to the top of the tail along the grooves on the shaker surface; the lighter non-metallic substance flows to the bottom of the shaker higher than the grooves on the bed surface under water washing. There is a magnetic separator at the end of the shaker to separate the passing iron materials.
